Swedish opera singer (mezzo-soprano), born December 1, 1970 in Ängelholm. She is internationally established in the dramatic trade union. In roles such as Brangäne in Tristan and Isolde, Fricka in Rhenguldet and Valkyrian, the lead roles in Carmen and Eboli in Verdi's Don Carlos, all performed at the Royal Opera, she has shown dramatic nerve in both voice and stage interpretation. Dike is educated at the Royal Academy of Music and the Opera Academy in Stockholm. She made her debut in 1997 as Carmen at the Folkoperan and during the 2009/2010 season was relevant as Fricka both at the Royal Opera in Stockholm and in the Frankfurt Opera's new production of Wagners Ring. She also appeared as Brangäne in Nantes / Angers and at the Bayreuth Festival between 2006 and 2010, including Waltraute in Valkyrian, Andra Nornan in Ragnarök and as Fricka in Valkyrian at a notable jump in 2008. Dike made her debut in 2009 at Opéra de Dijon as Brangäne in Tristan and Isolde. In the autumn of 2010, she again performed Fricka in the Valkyrian at Oper Frankfurt. In 2011 she performed Waltraute in Wagner's Ragnarök at Värmlandsoperan and the mezzo party in Faust condemning Berlioz with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and the role as Hervor / Hervardur (at Malmöoperan) in Stenhammar's opera Tirfing, a role for which she was nominated for Tidskriften Opera's Opera Prize. In the 2015–16 season, Dike made his debut as Klytämnestra in Strauss Elektra, Mrs Sedley in Britten's opera Peter Grimes and as Gertrud in Hans and Greta. In January 2017, Dike debuted with great success as Ortrud in Lohengrin at the Greek National Opera in Athens. In May 2019, she repeated the success in the role of Ortrud at the Staatstheater Nürnberg.
