American born jazz singer who worked in Europe. She performed a Vienna production of Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess" in 1966. In 1972 she worked in Austria with the ORF Big Band conducted by Johannes Fehring as part of a female vocal group called The Chicks (Lola Braxton, Janey Maurer, Barbara Madison and Marika Lichter).
