Motor Combo

"Illustrated electro-mechanical music made by a Barcelona's duo with the support of digital projections" The group consists of two multifaceted artists: Eli Gras (inventor, founder of the NoNoLogic Festival, illustrator and writer) and Florenci Salesas (actor, lecturer, musician, and illustrator), who have been old friends and partners in various art projects since the early 80's. Motor Combo was initially created in 2002 as a trio with Raul Hidalgo to celebrate the birth of La Olla Express as a new label and publisher by playing live the instrumental pieces from Florenci Salesas's first album "Músiques Fredes " which was the first CD released by the label. In 2003 they decided to continue as a duo and started to compose new material, including some pop songs with lyrics written by Eli.
