Michiko Lima

Born in Japan and in 1971 married the Brazilian guitarist Natalicio Lima in Tokyo and then later became a member of Los Indios Tabajaras. In 1979 her brother-in-law, Antenor Lima, decided to retire so she offered to take his place alongside her husband in Los Indios Tabajaras. At this time Michiko could read music but had never played guitar, so ''They (Michiko and Natalicio) literally locked themselves in their apartment for about 15 months and practiced and practiced.
