Peter Astrup

Danish harmonica player, blues arranger and booker, born c. 1961. One of the initiators behind the Djurs Bluesland festival, established in 1988 and renamed to Djurs Blues Festival in 1991. Stopped his affiliation with the festival in 1994, one year before it went bankrupt. Ran his own booking company BluesProductions the following year with an extensive activity in Norway. Arranged the first blues festival in Frederikshavn in 2007, and revived Djurs Bluesland in 2007.
