Probably he sang in Italian provincial theaters and had apparently studied in Paris under Lhérie and Jean de Reszke. From 1895 to 1905 he performed in smaller French stages. He appeared also in London. He should have lost about 1910 his voice; since 1914 he lived in London and been active there as a pedagogue.
