James Kochalka

James Kochalka (b. 26 May 1967) is a Vermont comic book artist and rock musician. He is best known for his American Elf comic series as well as for his song "Hockey Monkey" which appeared on Nickelodeon's KaBlam! and served as the theme song for the television show, The Loop. Kochalka was scouted by Moby, and joined the Little Idiot Collective. Performing with Jazzin' Hell in the early 1990s and forming his own band as James Kochalka Superstar in 1995, Kochalka has produced more than 20 albums and compilations spanning the late 90s through the 2010s. Kochalka's other prominent comic series include SuperFuckers and Glorkian Warrior, which has been adapted into a video game.
