Axium (5)

Rock band from Blue Springs, Missouri. Notable for introducing David Cook (2) to recorded music as the band's vocalist/guitarist from 1999 until the band split up in 2006. Formed in high school under the name Axiom, the group included Cook, drummer Bobby Kerr, guitarist Matt Pedro Oliveira, and bassist Drew Fox, who was replaced by Anthony Mazzarella before the band recorded their first demo. Future bass players included Jeff Kerr (2001) and Travis Grogan (2004), though the group would record their lone full-length with Jerron Nichols. After Bobby left the band in 2005 and David left the following year, Axiom dissolved as Cook began his solo career.
