Emilio Pacheco Ojeda. It was a Mexican songbook from the beginning and middle of the 20th century. He was born in Campeche Mexico in 1891 and died in 1964. From a very young age he became fond of the guitar, and studied music theory, double bass and cello under the direction of Manuel Rojas. From 1913 he composed songs. Among them are Presentimiento (1924, with lyrics by Pedro Mata), Tú no sabes (lyrics by Efrén Rebolledo), El Mirlo (lyrics by Rafael Cabrera), Penacho (lyrics by Antonio Médiz Bolio), Gotas de Ajenjo (lyrics by Julio Flores), Arráncame Los Ojos, El Clavo, Flores, Oh, Tierra Campechana! and Para Tu Lindo Pie Travieso. His older brother, Salvador ["Chavo"] also stood out as a songwriter. Among her main compositions are A Ella and Canto De Amor (lyrics by Cristina Reyes de R.) and Siento Una Gran Tristeza (lyrics by Lorenzo Martínez Alfaro).
