Ukrainian writer-producer Aleksander Khimchuk is the man behind the Estradarada project that has been generating millions of audio streams globally, and over 100 million YouTube plays alone for his stand-out 2018 smash “Vitya Must Get Out”. «They say ‘Vitya’ became the soundtrack to contemporary Russia,» laughs Aleksander, «and a writer can’t receive a better compliment than that. It’s true that ’Vitya’ was everywhere: radio, TV and dance floors. It lifted my career to a whole new level. There were memes, jokes, comments everywhere. The track hit a national nerve, a mood or zeitgeist that all songwriters aim for. The trick now is to keep doing that! ». Aleksander, however, was previously no stranger to massive Russian-produced hits - before his career as a writer producer he spent 10 years directing and producing music videos for other artists at Kiev’s Pistolet Film company. «I was literally drowning in musical talent and the best sounds available, » he adds. «I got a sense for what works commercially and artistically. It was the best education that money can’t buy. » His early single, «Galya Walk» and was released in 2015. On the year 2017 Estradarada released commercial dance album «Disco of the Century» and underground club and electronic album «Ultra Moda Futura». It was the product of two years solid studio work. The Russian media called the latter «the subject of avant- garde dance music, the atmospheric project with deep emotional sense». Highly collaborative and never afraid to cross multiple electronic genres, Aleksander co- produced music with a number of major Russian sound producers’ names including Vyacheslav Kondrashin, Max Yany and Vadim Zhukov. The very latest Estradarada releases have been «Minimal» in October 2019, and December 2019’s «Champion», a collaboration with Russian ice hockey star Evgeny Malkin for the Nivea skincare brand.
