British multidisciplinary visual artist, photographer, electronic musician and DJ (b. 1981, London). Eddie Peake creates elaborate performances and installations and produces videos, paintings, and sculptures. His works have appeared at Piccadilly Circus, White Cube, Institute Of Contemporary Arts, Focal Point Gallery, Tate Modern, Royal Academy Of Arts, London and other prestigious galleries and art institutions. Peake co-founded a record label HYMN (2) and an electronic music project Anal House Meltdown. Born and grew up in London, Eddie Peake was educated abroad, attending Yale University's School of Art in Connecticut, USA and the Bezalel Academy of the Arts in Jerusalem. He then studied in London at the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal Academy Schools from 2010 to 2013. In addition to his art career, Peake is engaged in the electronic music scene. He co-founded a gay club night/DJ "soundsystem" Anal House Meltdown with fellow contemporary artist and Royal Academy alumni Prem Sahib (b. 1982) and George Henry Longly. Eddie Peake directed a music video for indie pop artist Gwilym Gold (signed to his label, Hymn) and appeared in Kendrick Lamar's video, "Sing About Me," directed by Darren Romanelli.
