Об исполнителе:
Birth: 1940 Jefferson County Alabama, USA Death: Nov. 5, 1990 Ile-de-France, France Victor M. Upshaw was a resident of Paris, France for over 25 years. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he moved with his family to California at an early age. Victor attended the public schools in the Compton School District. He graduated from Centennial High School and attended Compton College. His dynamic creative abilities and expertise in "the arts" gave Victor his big break, appearing in "South Pacific" with Judy Garland. The greatest opportunity that opened many doors for Victor was appearing with Donn Arden's Dance Group in Paris and choreographing shows at the Lido de Paris and the Crazy Horse Saloon. He also choreographed shows in Spain, Hawaii and Lebanon. Victor had a show at the Rivera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada called "Crazy Girls" which he conceived, choreographed, wrote most of the music and designed the costumes. The show was in its third year at the time of his death. Victor choreographed for the films "Il faut vivre dangereusement" ("You've Got to Live Dangerously") (1975) and "Le voyou" ("The Crook") (1970), both in France. In life, Victor touched many lives and helped to open many doors for other aspiring talents. He is greatly missed. Created by: Ronald Walton
