RRUCCULLA

Her name is Izaskun González, but everybody will know her by RRUCCULLA. She’s 22. She writes experimental electronic music and plays drums with such precision and talent that your head got filled by names and memories: from Tortoise to Battles , to Four Tet and Flying Lotus, all covered with shadows of avant-garde jazz, dubstep and hip hop. She has written, recorded, mixed and produced 4 albums between August 2015 and March 2016, and she only step out of her hiding place once: it was November 10th and she won 3 awards at the XXVIII edition of the prestigious Villa de Bilbao (Best Band - Electronic & Other Music; Best Local Band; Best Young Regional Band). Since then, RRUCCULLA is back to her lair in Barakaldo (Bilbao), where she does not stop writing new material and trying the kind of things that are only at hand of artists who live to change the rules forever.
