American rock 'n' roll singer and songwriter, from 1959 on, he was a disc jockey and performer at the radio station on WHBN, Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Martin was born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He must not be confused with philly sound producer Bobby Martin, even if he has worked at almost the same time.
