American musician and songwriter from New York area, in 2013 co-founder of queercore band PWR BTTM together with Liv Bruce. Shortly before the release of their second album in 2017, Hopkins was accused of sexual assaults. As a result, the duo was dropped by its label and split the same year. In 2020, Hopkins announced to continue as a solo artist under his full name Benjamin Walter Hopkins.
