Richard Knox (4)

Pianist and keyboardist in New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally from Illinois, Knox moved to New Orleans in 1965 to study piano at the Southern University of New Orleans. He began playing with funk group Chocolate Milk in 1970 followed by jump blues/rock and roll band Deacon John & The Ivories. He continued to play with various jazz and rhythm and blues artists, joining The Dirty Dozen Bass Band in 1994 and Kermit Ruffins & The Barbecue Swingers in the 2000s.
