Jesus Teran "Chavin"

This great Venezuelan, Zuliano, is an interpreter, composer, announcer, animator, musician and publicist, both in radio and television. In 1951, he was born in the 36th street of the Los Postes Negros de Cabimas sector, Jesús Salvador Terán, known in the world of the gaiteros as "Chavín" In 1970, Chavín took his first steps in the world of gaiats, forming the Los Tupamaros group together with other young people from Merida. Two years later, he established a residence in Maracaibo and made his professional debut in 1973 with Los Azulejos, where he composed and recorded his first gaita called Tres Estrellas; also enjoys with great excitement his first public presentation at the remembered site La Moneda, located on 5 de Julio Avenue in Maracaibo.
