Paul Martell

American bandleader, songwriter, accordionist, songwriter, pianist, and violinist. Born January 6, 1905 in Brooklyn, New York. He led his own bands beginning in 1936. He was an institution at the Arcadia Ballroom in New York, becoming their house band, though they still played throughout the country. As a songwriter, he was best known for "I Wuv a Wabbit", a novelty song he wrote with Milton Berle and Ervin Drake.
