Leahy branched out into music publishing in the 80s, teaming up with former Pretty Things manager Bryan Morrison. Forming the new company Morrison Leahy Music Ltd. Worked as publisher with Wham! and after their split with George Michael. Owner and creator of Dick Leahy Music Ltd..
