Swedish musician (organ, piano and accordion) and cantor, born 17 May 1972 in Brunneby parish in Östergötland. She was named Accordionist of the Year in 2006 by the members of the Swedish Accordionists' National Association. In 2001-2017, Arvidsson worked as a piano and accordion teacher at the music school in Sundbyberg municipality. In January 2017, she took up a position as cantor in Borensberg's pastorate. In December 2018, she transferred to a position as cantor in Orsa parish. In 2020, her full-time position, as a result of the corona pandemic and declining membership in the Church of Sweden, was transformed into a part-time position. During part of 2021 and 2022, Arvidsson was on leave. Arvidsson is educated at Bollnäs Folk High School and an accordion teacher at the Stockholm Academy of Music. She is a member of the music groups Métro Bohème and Trio Stravinsky. Arvidsson also works to spread the interest in accordion, for example by holding education for children [8] and by participating in various accordion gatherings, for example the accordion meeting in Ransäter. Arvidsson's father, the musician and accordionist Lasse Arvidsson, participated for a long time in the program Nygammalt on SVT.
