Motoi Murakami

Murakami Motoi was born in 1985 in the Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. He started playing the trumpet at the age of 10 and started music activities while attending the jazz course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Murakami studied trumpet under Tomonao Hara, Akira Okumura, Neil Stalnaker, and Saki Chio Fusaka. Currently, he is active as Zainichi Funk, Gentle Forest Jazz Band, and DIRTY FOUR EYES. In charge of lead trumpet in the Gentle Forest Jazz Band, he also composes and arranges. In addition to supporting various artists such as Gen Hoshino, Rekishi, and sumika, recording and arranging music, he also produces and plays commercial music.
