Ian McLean (7)

Ian enlisted in the Australian Army as an Apprentice Musician in June 1967. He was a member of The Northern Command Band, The Band Of The Royal Military College and North Queensland Army Band before he was selected to attend the famed Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall in London. In 1981 he was commissioned Lieutenant and posted as Second in Command, The 1st Recruit Training Battalion Band. He returned to The Band Of The Royal Military College in 1993 as Officer Commanding and Music Director.
