From Italy, Sugar Daddy and The Cereal Killers are a Rhythm & Blues locomotive that does not forget Swing or Boogie Woogie at their concerts. Seeing these seven Italians live is like transporting yourself to 1940s North America: elegance on stage and beads of sweat on the dance floor. The band Sugar Daddy and The Cereal Killers was born in 2009 in the northern city of Milan. It is that year when Simone Caputo, commonly known as Sugar Daddy, begins to develop together with drummer Francis Needham and bassist Roberto Boldi a personal proposal based on the Blues that they already practiced in previous projects. Key to its sound will be the wind section made up of Luigi Napolitano, Roberto Dibitonto and Cosimo Pignataro, who would eventually be joined by the virtuoso pianist John Bramley. Interspersing their own compositions, included in their album "Thirteen Days", with versions of great classics such as Muddy Waters, Little Richard, Ray Charles or Louis Prima, these hardworking musicians have shared stages throughout Europe with bands such as Ray Collins Hot Club, Polecats or The Limboos.
