Boys Next Door are pretty much a Portland "institution"- and not in the insane kind of way. Entertaining literally hundreds of thousands of fans over the years, the band has been performing at the Dublin Pub for longer than any other band has played at any other bar you can think of. That's quite an accomplishment in an age and a town where bands come and go like the changing seasons. As for the music- imagine a virtual jukebox of most of your favorite songs from the 60s through the 00s. Everything from AC/DC to Green Day; Brown Eyed Girl to Turnin' Japanese; and a boatload in between. Though throwing in an original by one of the band's songwriters every now and again, Boys Next Door are the quintessential cover band. Yell out a song and they're likely to learn it and play it for you on the spot! You'll be hard pressed not to dance like there's no tomorrow to their upbeat, edgy interpretations of classic and modern rock.
