Swedish composer, professor of composition and teaches and supervises in the art field performative sound art, site-specific art and sound art with a focus on public places, born April 24, 1961 in Mjölby. His interest in everyday sounds and everyday things is of great importance in his composing. From this interest, a number of compositions and projects have been created. Compositions that have received a lot of media attention include Ozon I for 33-part mixed choir with electronic greeting cards, Ozon II for 24 ice cream trucks, Fån for mobile phones, WROOM, concert for 100 Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Iron, concert for bodybuilders. Enjoy the simple life was the name of a project based on recorded everyday sounds from Mossenmark's own everyday life, such as jogging, sleeping, eating food and so on. The recordings could be ordered and according to the composer, for example, a recorded jogging trip could replace the client's own jogging trip. Mossenmark also composes in more classical forms, such as in the opera Fru Björk's öden och äventyr, based on Jonas Gardell's novel. His second opera Bortbytingen, commissioned by Musikteatern in Värmland, is based on a fairy tale by Selma Lagerlöf. Mossenmark regularly comments on current cultural events together with Marcus Birro and Nabila Abdul Fattah in Göteborgs-Posten's Culture Panel.
