Об исполнителе:
The Lucy Smith Trio, which was founded in the late 1940s later became the Little Lucy Smith Singers and was formed by Lucy Smith. She was then joined by Gladys Beamon Gregory, Catherine Campbell (3), and Sarah McKissick Simmons. Florine Watson was a member of the group during their early days when they were known as Lucy Smith Trio alongside Smith and Beamon. Before they recorded their first album, she left the group and was replaced by Campbell and Simmons. By the mid-1950s, they had gained a significant following; their version of "Somebody Bigger Than You and I" was one of their most popular recordings. They also recorded “Come Unto Me,” “Jesus, Lover of My Soul” and “Down on My Knees.”
