Flusnoix is a collective of improv collaborators based in and around Montevallo, AL and has been performing live since 2015. The idea for Flusnoix originated with founder Jess Marie Walker’s desire to create work imbued with a Fluxus sensibility and to translate the act of drawing into a sonic experience. After developing her sound making techniques of flusdrawxing and flusvoxing for use in art installations and performances, she initiated a series of improv sessions which evolved into Flusnoix.
