Об исполнителе:
American smooth jazz saxophonist It was a set of strings, not a woodwind that launched the musical career of Rob White. At the tender age of 7, encouraged by his mother, Rob picked up a violin and started a journey that led to music mastery, music revolt and a monumental musical collaboration. By the time the Dallas, TX native entered the high school band, he had mastered the violin, the soprano, alto and tenor sax and the flute; and although he stood out among his peers, he found himself constantly trying to prove himself to the band director. With the vigor for risk taking that comes with youth, White put down his instruments and “retired” from musicianship for the remainder of his high school years. It was the request of a friend, and a spiritual moment, that brought White out of retirement a few years later; and he’s been making beautiful music ever since. After high school White moved to Indianapolis, became involved in the jazz scene, and met Erica Williams of E2 Entertainment. “I couldn't believe the powerful sound created by this humble, unassuming artist!” says Williams, who facilitated an introduction to join a record label. When the invitation was extended to join the label, White says he knew this was an incredible opportunity.
