Sigurdur Bjarki Gunnarsson

Cellist, born 18 December 1975 in Reykjavik, Iceland. He graduated in 1995 from the Reykjavík College of Music. He continued his cello studies at the Manhattan School Of Music in New York and graduated with a Bachelor‘s degree in 1998. He received a Master’s degree from the Juilliard School in New York in 2000. A member of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra since 2002, Gunnarsson remains an active chamber musician and teacher.
