Founded in 1983 by brothers Dale and Troy Thompson from Kentucky. After releasing four independent cassettes they were picked up by Pure Metal Records and in the process changed their name to Bride. Since the cassettes were home-produced, most of them consist in different versions with variations in track listing and label printing.
