Gregorio Baudot

Spanish musician and composer born on March 12, 1884 in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid) and pased away on November 4, 1938 in Ferrol (Galicia). He conducted his musical studies at the Madrid Conservatory reaching the maximum grades, obtaining prizes in solfeo, harmony, flute and composition. After graduating in 1906, he started a flutist career with the wind instrument quintet of Pérez Casas, with which he performs an important American tour. After his marriage in 1909, he decides to present himself to the oppositions for the director of the Music Band of the Second Regiment of the Marine Infantry, based in Ferrol, of which he takes possession in 1910. The rest of his career goes to passed in Galicia.
