Arnold Hyles

Born 23 Jan 1906 in Ellis County, Texas, USA - Died 15 Mar 1979 (aged 73) in Dallas County, Texas, USA. Inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame (2004). A member of the WWVA Original Jamboree. A Gospel Singer. An original member of the Rangers Quartet which was formed during the Depression Era of the 1930's. The Rangers Quartet spotlighted their "basso-profundo" Arnold Hyles. His loud and rough bass voice was a foundation for this quartet.
