Jim Thomson II

Jael (Transliterated from initials) was a part of recording and writing since before he was a teenager but first led bands by 1975, He started Direct Current, the Eight Peace Jesus Joy Band, Preflyte, Lamenting Vinyl, Jay and the Rubber Band, Jerry & the Jerks, Where's Peter and XS10tiEL. He co-created and wrote extensively for Danter and produced Legion, Tanzen, Walter Riggi, and Robert Johnson. He started Skylight Records, Homemade Records, and JLT Records which produced records for Salt of the Chief Cornerstone, Kinaxis, and KtdaG. He used the names Jim Thomson II, Jay Thomson, JL the Cool Jay, JL Thomson, J. Thomson, X-Ray, and Lorne James for album and single credits. Jael was a single-name artist until the internet revealed a lot of international artists using the name and became Jael the Musicman.
