Stanislav Titzl

Czech music journalist, concert and music festival organizer, record producer. Born February 9, 1929 in Zábřeh na Moravě, died August 15, 1990 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia). In the 1950s one of the pioneers of Czechoslovak pop music journalism. 1971–1984 he was chief editor of the main Czechoslovak pop/jazz magazine “Melodie”, and 1985–1990 chief editor and executive producer of the Panton label.
