The group was originally formed in 1955 by two of the present members, Pete Kendrick, pianist and Lee Sexton, bass. Other members of the group includes Charles Taylor, baritone; Eleanor Wilson, alto, sister to charles; Wanda and Marvin Wigley, husband and wife team, singing soprano and lead; Ronnie Smith, bass guitar; and the newest member, Don Rogers, sound engineer.
