장윤정 (Jang Yun-jeong) (b. 16 February 1980) is a very popular and breakthrough singer in Korea with her debut song 어머나 (Omoh-na, an expression of surprise in Korean) which was released in 2004. She appears on many compilations and lends her music to remixes readily. She is commonly credited as reviving old style Korean pop music in what was considered a dying market and was able to re-popularize the old style with many young people. Her first recognition came in 1999 when she received the top prize in a SBS sponsored singing contest, surprising many by choosing to sing classic Korean songs. At the time she was in her first year of Seoul Art School majoring in Broadcasting Entertainment.
