Mina Sakai

Mina Sakai, popularly known as Mina, is the current lead vocalist, tonkori and mukkuri player of the musical duo Imeruat alongside composer Masashi Hamauzu, and was previously a member of the "Ainu Rebels" until their disbandment in 2010. Born 5th January 1983 in Obihiro City, Japan, she is well educated in the culture of the Ainu (or Aynu) People, and along with her musical career, she was previously a traditional Ainu dancer.
