Ceuzany

Ceuzany is a Cape Verdean singer. With a father from Fogo island and mother from São Vicente, Ceuzany was born in Senegal, where she lived until age 2 before returning. She began her artistic career at age 12, excelling in local choir festivals. Later she found regular work in hotels with the group Eclipse, even touring France and Holland. In 2007, while performing at a hotel on Santo Antão, she caught the attention of Arlindo Évora, songwriter and vocalist of the group Cordas Do Sol, who immediately invited her to join this established group.
