Alaina Reed

November 10, 1946–December 17, 2009. Born Bernice Ruth Reed on November 10, 1946, in Springfield, Ohio, USA, and also known as Alaina Reed Hall and became Alaina Reed-Amini in 2008. She was a gifted actress and singer, best known for playing Olivia, Gordon’s kid sister, on the beloved show Sesame Street[/I] from 1976 to 1988 and also for playing Rose on the sitcom 227[/I] from 1985 to 1990. In addition to her television work, she cut a lone 7-inch single for Capitol/EMI Records in the early 1970s. She died on December 17, 2009, in Santa Monica, California, of breast cancer.
