Rob Brett aka David Bowman stated producing in the early 2000s after being a dj and enjoying the Uk rave scene since the late 80s. He developed a big passion for techno and all its sub genres. After producing for a while Rob joined forces with a close late friend and formed hofmann which was a blend of techno, house anything inbetween. Rob with his love for space and the film 2001 then decided to start David Bowman in 2009 which was a musical vehicle where he could express a true techno sound. Rob likes all techno styles but in recent years has defiantly crafted his own sound. His deep textured spacey noises, driving bass and minimal use of drums give his tracks slow hypnotic progression with a deep dark minimal groove this creates some very deep dark atmospheres.
