Iréne Sahlin

Swedish composer, born April 4, 1972 in Håsjö. Since 2018 her name is Iréne Moneeo. She lives in Gävle. Iréne Moneeo mainly composes electroacoustic music (EAM), live electronics and sound art but also writes for dance / performance. She often combines sound and light. She has been collaborating with her husband Per Moneeo (born Per Samuelsson) since 2004 in the experimental duo Moneeo. The couple took the name Moneeo when they got married in 2018. She has been a member of the Swedish Composers' Association since 2008.
