Kenneth Morris (4)

Texas guitarist, born October 1st, 1950 in Gainesville, Texas and now living in Alvord, Texas. Kenneth began playing guitar at age 10, backing his older brother on fiddle. He was a member of The Brothers Morris with his brothers Dale Morris (8) and Terry Morris (4). He was awarded state championships in 1978, 1981 and was runner-up in 1987. He was inducted into the Texas Fiddler’s Hall of Fame as a guitarist in 2012. He has recorded with a number of family members and others including Dale Morris Sr., Terry Morris, Dale Morris Jr., Wade Stockton, Ricky Boen, Royce Franklin, Rex Gillentine, Bobby Christman, Jerry Thomasson, Valerie Ryals, Bill Lyell and Tommy and Elsie Burger. He performed live at the Grand Ole Opry with nephew Dale Morris Jr. in 1989 and 1992.
