Alejandro Roy

Tenor born in Gijón (Asturias, Spain). He studied in Florence with the great mezzo-soprano Fedora Barbieri. His appearances in Zarzuela and Opera include leading roles having performed in the most important theaters in Spain and Europe. On Thursday, October 31, 2019 he debuted at the Metropolitan Opera House (New York, US), in the role of Calaf in the production of the opera «Turandot» by Zeffirelli under the baton of maestro Marco Armiliato.
