Dóri DNA

Halldór Laxness Halldórsson, born 16 May 1985 in Mosfellsbær, Iceland, and better known as Dóri DNA, is an Icelandic actor, author, and protagonist. He is the son of filmmakers Guðný Halldórsdóttir and Halldór Þorgeirsson. Halldór graduated from the Hamrahlíð High School in 2006 and graduated from the LHI Regional Author's Course in 2011. He is a member of the Central Iceland Resistance Group, along with Ara Eldjárn, Johann Alfreð Kristinsson, Bergi Ebba Benediktsson and Birni Braga. Originally a rapper, with the bands Best Town, NBC and 1985 !. He officially retired from rapping in 2008 but has appeared and rapped on special occasions. Halldór wrote and starred in the play This is a comedy without a puppet, along with Saga Garðarsdóttir which was set up by Akureyri Cultural Society in 2015. In the same year he published the poem book Ideas: Worth a hundred million, which was nominated for the Cultural Prize DV in 2016. In the fall of 2019, Dóra DNA Kokkáll's first novel was published by Bjartur.
