Alex Perry was born in Verona on 14 February1968. In 1986, thanks to his vocal ability and interpretation he recorded his first single for an independent label. A year later he recorded 'Raise Tonight' followed by 'I'll be there' (1988) and 'Casanova' (1989). He placed in the charts of Europe and promoted the singles with live performances in the major Italian and European clubs under the name of Dandy. In 1990, after collaborations with various artists dich as Nico Di Palo and Sabrina he started his work as guitarist and vocalist in live performances on Italian television (Festivalbar, Ricomincio da Due with Raffaella Carrà on RAI-2). In 1991 he decided to resume his solo career and with the song 'Fool Guys', included in numerous compilations he opened a concert of Jo and Sabrina during a tour in Italian disco clubs. In the summer 1992 Ronnie Jones and Alex had two covers 'September' (Earth Wind & Fire song) and '5 o'clock in the morning which was previously recorded by Village People. In 1994 he released various mix compilations placed in various European charts and a video clip shot in London. In 1995 he joined Textures and the single 'Power of Love' allowed him to participate, with other artists such Bananarama and Whigfield, on a big tour of Canada followed by the major media. In February of 1996 made the cover of Elison Moyet's 'Love Resurrection' and a cover of 'Pistol In My Pocket' as Paul Ice. In April 1996, under the pseudonym of Alex Perry and a new single 'Love Me Baby' (cover of a song by Sheila & B.Devotion). He also took care of the artistic production and cooperated actively in new projects. In 1997 he participated in the release of two more singles: ('Everything She Wants' and 'Flash in the Night') as an arranger and producer. In August of that year he undertook a tour in Japan under the pseudonym of Ken Martin. In April 1998 he published the singles 'Copacabana' and 'Club Tropicana'. In 1999 he collaborated with the house group Groovy 69's. This collaboration led him to make two singles and he toured for six months in Spain. In December of that year signed a contract for an independent Italian label which was terminated in March 2001 due to his creative differences with producers. In November 2002 he collaborated with Media Records in carrying out a project under the name 'Soho Boys feat. Alex:I Want Your Sex cover.' In 2005 he participated in the 'Sei Un Mito' broadcast on Canale 5. Presently he still continues his work as a vocalist and singer
