Valery Kamishov

Valery kamishov was born in 1943 in Fergan. He received his musical education in the Central School of Music and the Moscow Conservatoire, from which he graduated in 1965 from the class of Professor Yakov V. Flier ( which whom he also studied as a post-graduate). Mr. Kamishov won First Prize on the All-Union Competition for Performing Musicians in 1961, at the 2nd International P. I. Tchaikovsky Competition in 1962, and at the Belgian Queen Elizabeth International Competition in 1968. As a pianist he performs in the Soviet Union and abroad: in Belgium, Holland, and Spain.
