Varner M. Chance

A graduate of the Jordan Conservatory of Music at Butler University. He founded the Epworth Forest School in North Webster, Indiana, a weeklong nondenominational Christian music camp, in 1955. He was director there for 33 years until his retirement in 1991. He was head of the music education department at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, OH. He was also an associate professor of music at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. He founded and directed the Sounds Of Hope Goodwill European tours. .
