Karl Freiherr Von Lemayer

Karl Lemayer (baron since 1879) was born on May 13, 1841 in Boskowitz, Moravia (today Boskovice, Czech Republic), and died on May 13, 1906 in Baden near Vienna, Austria. He was the author of ecclesiastical-political laws, participated in the formulation of the law for the establishment of an administrative court and, in his academic work, devoted himself in particular to the problem of individual freedom in the state and legal philosophy studies on this subject. He wrote the poem "Frühling", set to music by the composer Franz Schreker.
