Swedish jazz pianist, arranger and producer, born 18 February 1966 in Huddinge parish and grew up in Edane in Värmland. He has lived in Nacka, south of Stockholm, since 1988. As a 13-year-old, he did his practical vocational orientation with Charlie Norman on the Hamburger Börs in Stockholm. After studying music and graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, he has worked as a freelance musician and producer. In 1988, he and singer Lena Maria Klingvall began a collaboration that has taken them around the world. Among other things, they have appeared in all 47 landscapes of Japan. Wihk has produced and arranged all of their joint CD productions. Their 15-year collaboration has included tours in Sweden, Europe, the USA, and Asia. Memorable moments are, for example, a private concert for Thailand's Crown Princess in the palace and the inauguration of the Handicap Olympics in Nagano in 1998. As a fellow musician, Anders Wihk has most often had his jazz trio consisting of Johan Löfcrantz, Kenneth Holmström. In 2011, Anders made arrangements for a jazz trio of ABBA songs. The CD and tour in 2012 with "Same Tree Different Fruit" together with Steve Gadd and Svante Henryson, went from Sweden to Japan and South Korea. Wihk has also collaborated with, among others, Lena Ericsson, Alex Acuña, Larry Carlton, Radiosymfonikerna, Anders Paulsson, André De Lang, Anders Nyberg, Putte Wickman, Jan Allan, Tina Ahlin, Robert Wells, Rigmor Gustafsson, Jack Kelly, Dan Gross, Tom Kanematsu, Rutsuko Fukosawa, Shinoshiro Maeda, Steve Gadd, Mika Yoshida, Eddie Gomez, Richard Stoltzman, Svante Henryson, David Sanborn and Robben Ford.
