Sheri Watson

"Sheri Watson (born in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is a former freestyle\dance singer from the '80s. As a child, she studied piano & violin and spent three summers with the Harkness Ballet School in New York City on a scholarship. When Sheri was 16 years old, she accepted a scholarship with the Stuttgart Ballet School in Germany and later attended the Joffrey Ballet School. When she was 18 years old, she was awarded with a competitive contract to dance professionally with the American Ballet Theatre. She was also a member of the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After she choreographed a ballet for a workshop performance for the National Ballet of Canada, Sheri returned to New York City where she choreographed a music video which led her to the recording studios where she began writing & recording music. In 1987, Sheri released the single, "Let's Be Lovers" on Best Records. It's unknown how or if the single ever charted.  She later worked as an assistant engineer and was a personal assistant for composer\arranger Harold Wheeler for four years. These days, Sheri continues to be active in the music business and has founded her own music publishing company called Naad Music which is dedicated to promoting healing through conscious sound vibrations."
